Know who starts the transfer
Qiwa's official guide places the first steps with the receiving establishment. The new employer signs in to Qiwa Business, opens Employee Transfer, chooses to transfer an employee from another employer, selects the destination establishment and adds the employee. The worker cannot complete those business-account steps on the new employer's behalf.
Before the request begins, confirm the receiving establishment's legal name, the job, work location, salary package and intended start date in writing. Ask which authorized representative is handling the Qiwa request. This helps you distinguish a genuine establishment process from a recruiter who asks for account credentials or personal payment.
Treat eligibility as a case check, not a general promise
Employee-transfer outcomes can depend on the worker's record, the establishments involved, the existing contract and the rules applied by the platform at the time. Qiwa's live workflow is the authoritative place to see whether a request can proceed. A colleague's transfer under different facts does not establish that your case will follow the same approvals or deadline.
Check that your Iqama details, current employer and occupation information are accurate in official records. Tell the new employer about a pending transfer, final-exit request, labour dispute or recently changed document before it submits. Do not edit or conceal facts merely to pass a screen; ask the authorized employer representative or Qiwa support how the actual case should be handled.
What the new employer submits
The official Qiwa guide instructs the receiving establishment to choose the transfer service, select the relevant establishment and add the employee or employees. It then creates the employment contract by completing contract details for each employee and submits the request. The precise validation screens and requested fields may change.
Ask the new employer for the Qiwa request or offer reference after submission. Do not treat an internal HR form as proof that a government-platform request exists. If the employer says the request failed, ask for the displayed reason without requesting access to its business account.
Review and respond in Qiwa Individual
When the request or contract reaches your Qiwa Individual account, verify the receiving employer, job title, city, contract duration, wage, allowances, probation, leave and notice terms. Compare the document with the offer you accepted outside the platform. Request a correction before approval when a material term differs.
Use only the response offered in your signed-in Qiwa account and complete any identity confirmation yourself. Save the response status and final contract. Never forward a Nafath prompt, one-time password or screen-sharing control to the employer or an agent; an authorized employer does not need your private login to create its side of the transfer.
Track every stage before changing your work arrangements
A worker's acceptance is an important stage, but it may not be the last administrative step. Check the status in Qiwa and ask both HR teams which action is pending. Keep the request reference, dated status, accepted contract and written joining instruction in one file.
Do not assume that an offer, an accepted contract and a completed transfer all mean the same thing. Wait for the official status relevant to your case before treating the employer record as changed. Coordinate notice, handover, final pay and start date in writing so neither employer works from a different timeline.
Keep the old-employer and new-employer tasks separate
Ask the current employer for a written handover list, final working date and calculation of salary, unused leave and any other final entitlement. Ask the receiving employer for a written joining date and the person to report to. Do not let an informal start date conflict with an active contract, approved leave or a notice obligation you have not resolved.
Return employer property against a receipt and retain your own employment documents. Do not surrender a passport, Iqama or private-account access as a condition of cooperation. If the two employers give conflicting instructions, record both and request clarification through the official process before taking an irreversible step.
If the request is rejected, expires or stalls
Read the exact status and identify which party is expected to act. Recheck the employee details and contract, then ask the receiving employer to address a business-side error through its Qiwa account. For an employee-side problem, use Qiwa's official support rather than paying an intermediary who claims to unlock the request.
If the problem involves unpaid salary, a disputed termination or another labour-rights issue, preserve that evidence separately and use the appropriate HRSD complaint or dispute channel. An unsuccessful transfer request does not decide the merits of a separate wage or contract claim.
