Choose the question before choosing the form
“Has my application been found?” and “Can I retrieve an issued visa?” are different questions. KSA Visa provides separate public screens for searching a submitted application and for enquiring about or printing a visa. Begin with the one that fits the document or reference you hold.
Keep your application confirmation and passport together. If another person prepared the application, ask for its actual reference rather than a cropped status image. Our practical recommendation is to maintain one file per traveller so details do not get mixed between relatives.

Search for a submitted application
The public submitted-application page reviewed for this guide asks for the passport number, current nationality, visa type, the selector labelled جهة القدوم, and the image code. Select the entries that match the original application, complete the code, and use the search action shown on that screen.
The Arabic field جهة القدوم is presented as a selectable field. If you are unsure which option your application used, check the application record or responsible submission channel. Do not assume it means your current home address or choose an arbitrary country to get a result.
Use the visa-print enquiry for an issued document
The separate visa-print enquiry has first and second matching-value selectors, nationality and an image-code field. Choose the requested identifier types before entering their values. Keep the visa or application reference available; “check by passport” should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a passport number alone is sufficient.
Read the current options in the live form. This article deliberately does not invent a universal pair of identifiers for every visa category. Where the platform provides an English option, use it if it helps you match the requested values accurately.
Read what the retrieved record actually says
Compare the traveller’s name and passport details with the documents you hold. Note the record type and its displayed status before drawing a conclusion. If you retrieve a visa document, review its own entries, validity and stay fields rather than inferring them from the existence of a search result.
For a family visit, keep the resident invitation, the visitor’s application and the issued visa as separate records. They answer different stages of the journey. An invitation or payment acknowledgement should not be filed as though it were the final document requested by an airline.
If no matching information appears
Recheck the passport spelling and number, selected nationality, visa type and other matching fields. Compare them with the original submission instead of repeatedly changing several inputs at once. A screenshot of the message and a note of the attempted enquiry can help the responsible support team understand the problem.
An empty search is not enough evidence to label an application refused or a document fake. Ask the official platform or submission channel to explain the status. Do not pay a third party merely because they promise to turn an unverified message into an approval.
Keep travel documents private
Enter passport details only on the official service you intended to use. Do not post passport numbers, visa numbers, application identifiers, barcodes or traveller photographs in a public discussion. Send a complete document only to a recipient that needs it for the requested task.
If you are checking for a relative, ask their permission before sending their documents or result to anyone else. Keep the application reference and passport copy together in a private folder, and remove identifying details from any screenshot used to ask a general question.
