Ask which address document is needed
Before signing in, check what the requesting organization actually wants: an address entered into a form, a short address, or a proof document. Sending a map pin when a document is requested can create an avoidable second round of messages.
SPL describes the short address as four letters and four numbers. Its National Address page also explains components including the building number, street, secondary number, district and postal code. Keep these fields distinct when copying them; a short address should not be substituted for every individual address field.

Open the address saved in your SPL account
From the official SPL website, sign in using the method offered to you. SPL’s FAQ describes access with account credentials or through Nafath. Open National Address and select the particular address record for which you need proof.
If you have more than one record, pause before choosing. Match the selected building and location to the address you intend to use. The fact that an address is saved in your account does not by itself tell you that it is the one the recipient requested.
Request the proof for that record
Choose the proof-printing or identification action attached to the selected address. SPL’s published instructions use an icon in this part of the route, so rely on the current action label or accessible description rather than the position of an icon in an old screenshot.
Once the document opens, use the download or printing controls available on your device. As an editorial filing tip, save an unedited copy with a simple name that identifies its purpose and retrieval date. Keep a separate redacted copy if you later need to ask a general support question.
Use an official alternative if appropriate
SPL also documents proof requests through its app and the Maha virtual assistant. The app route begins with the menu and National Address. Use the service instructions for the channel you select, and keep access to your own registered mobile number.
SPL announced National Address viewing and proof requests through Tawakkalna in March 2025. That is another official channel to check if it is already available in your account. Do not assume its menu matches SPL’s, and do not install an app from an unsolicited download link.
Review the proof before sending it
Open the saved file yourself and make sure it is readable from beginning to end. Compare the address and name shown with the account record you intended to use. If the document looks wrong, resolve the underlying record through SPL rather than editing the downloaded proof.
For a bank or insurer request, ask whether the organization accepts an electronic copy and whether it has its own document-date requirements. A downloaded file is useful only if it answers that recipient’s request; this guide does not create a universal acceptance or validity period.
If you cannot find the right record
Return to address management and check whether you selected an older location. SPL’s FAQ separately covers changing a main address and activating a suspended address. Use the relevant official action rather than creating another address merely because printing failed.
Keep any error message and the time of the attempt for a support enquiry. Share account or location details only through the channel that needs them. If someone asks for a complete proof document, confirm who will receive it and how to submit it securely before sending it.
